ISTA is the first international avalanche awareness training programme. It is a new approach essential to risk management, improving your knowledge of snow and bringing you greater freedom, pleasure and safety in the mountains.
The DISCOVERY course is a one-day initiation to the ISTA programme. It aims to introduce you to the basics of off-piste risk prevention. You will pick up the things you need to know to progress safely in snow.
The ST1 course is a twoday programme providing you with the fundamental skills and basic knowledge required to master the process of risk management, implement rescue procedures and use rescue equipment.
